Gay people are no different from any other person. All it is, is a sexual preference, it does not change who they are as a person. Gay or Straight they would be the same soul, and if this is truly a "Free" country (far from it) they would have all as equal right as any other person, Why should gay people be taken there rights away and black people given theirs?(not saying im against them)but Black people are as much of a human person as gays are.
I don't like the allotted responses for the question about whether of not someone is more or less likely to "turn out" homosexual if they have homosexual parents. A child turns out to have sexual attractions to the same or opposite gender irregardless of their parents. If it was controlled by parents, we would have no gay people. Also, even if it was controlled by parents, why would that be so bad? There are plenty of kids that need to be adopted as is. Or fed. Or loved. The world is overpopulated. I think having a few more gays wouldn't kill the world.
Children deserve a loving and nurturing environment that promotes a positive self image. Regardless, children should be raised by parents that love them, teach them right from wrong, encourage them to do well in school and to seek a college education, and would lay down their lives for their children. Children are no more likely to be gay being raised by homosexual parents than by heterosexual parents.
